Prescott Group Society provides adult clients with intellectual disabilities with the place, support and opportunity to have jobs, learn new skills and contribute to their community. We promote independence by providing our nearly 180 clients with vocational and life skills training and community employment opportunities.

Prescott Group operates three social enterprises where our clients learn valuable life and work skills. At Atlantic Bag Manufacturers, clients make high quality canvass and nylon products such as tote bags, conference portfolios and aprons complete with a company or conference logo or our own special designs. Clients in Prescott Mailing offer mailing and packaging services to a variety of local businesses and organizations. At Fireside Kitchen, clients make quality homemade baked goods and assorted jams.

As a non-profit agency, we are always raising funds to expand and enhance the services and support we offer. Each year, we hold many fundraising events such as our annual walk-a-thon in September and Christmas Tea and Sale (November 23, 2013). Your generous support helps us to continue to offer much-needed services to our clients.

We are an active member of the Halifax business community. In order to continue to provide our clients with meaningful vocational experiences and opportunities, we are looking for new ways to partner with local businesses. We encourage you to learn more about our products and services and visit us to see how we can help meet your business needs.
